Heya,
March is coming to an end, and we don’t want to miss the chance to share, at least briefly, this excellent experience.

We had the honor of participating as part of the Luxembourg delegation, representing Itinerantes ASBL and Travel on the Beat , in a space that reaffirms the importance of building networks and strengthening the cultural ecosystem and the electronic music market.

We are deeply grateful to Kultur lx for the invitation and the trust. Initiatives like this are undoubtedly one of the best ways to support and give visibility to artists and professionals who are active in the cultural scene while also being part of this sector.

Special thanks as well to the dan—tz for their impeccable organization, hospitality, and professionalism.

It was especially enriching to share this experience with a diverse, committed, and productive delegation, as well as to connect with the Luxembourg-based artists present and those who made us enjoy their showcases.

Grateful for this beautiful exchange.

It was a joy to share Venezuelan culture and music with Gustavo Morales, and to explore the connections between Turkish, arabesque, and Afro-Venezuelan traditions, especially through rhythm, where different worlds meet and resonate.

Thank you to Def Ensamble for the organization and inspiring students, to Kulturlx for their support; and to Metronome for the space and warm hospitality.

Music continues to bring us together.

TURKEY… get ready! Afro-Venezuelan rhythms are about to ignite the city! 🔥🥁

Join us for a powerful rhythmic experience as we welcome the incredible Venezuelan percussionist Gustavo Morales for an explosive masterclass and open stage session.

In collaboration with defjen and Metronome Coffee, this special gathering brings together groove, tradition, improvisation, and pure rhythmic fire.

Feel the pulse. Share the groove. Celebrate the spirit of connection and let’s make Istanbul move! 🌍

Gustavo will guide us through Afro-Venezuelan 6/8 structures, placing them in a vibrant dialogue with Anatolian irregular meters like 5/8, 7/8, and 9/8.

✨ Highlights:
• Workshop: Exploration of Afro-Venezuelan rhythmic systems.
• Rhythmic Dialogue: Bridging the gap between 6/8 and irregular Turkish meters.
• Open Stage: Interactive session for collective sharing and improvisation.
