We are holding a rally outside the Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday 2 July.

We have a meeting inside at 10.30 to discuss our "Reform Proposals to Combat Gender-Based Violence and Its Impact on Child Co-Victims" – and we need your help to make a show outside before.

🙏Please join us – Chamber of Deputies at 9.45am for a prompt 10am start

‼️If you can or cannot make it, please share this post.

Our 57 proposals include:
1️⃣Modifying existing laws around domestic violences and consent, and increasing sentencing;
2️⃣Measures relating to the rights of victims and child co-victims;
3️⃣A specialised court for cases of gender-based violence, with specialized judges and experts, and where the victim’s testimony is given equal weight as other evidence;
4️⃣Increased efforts to train professionals and raise public awareness.

The more of us who take a short time out of their day to show support, the more visible the message is to our decision makers, and it helps to add weight to our demands
