After the success of our first edition, join us for our "Walk and run for biodiversity" event! A friendly day out in nature to get moving, have fun, and learn more about our environment.

What’s on the agenda?
🏃‍♀️ 5Km & 10Km circuits (run or walk, entirely at your own pace!)
🎪 An eco-village packed with workshops, games, and delicious, locally sourced food.

After 4 months, it's time for an update! 🌳

In March 2026, the European Climate Pact ambassadors, alongside schools, citizens, and officials from Mamer, planted over 5,000 trees in the Bambësch forest in Mamer. During these heatwaves, we are thrilled to see that these trees, our best allies in protecting us from rising temperatures, are thriving!

Thank you once again to all the participants for their time, showing us just how much small actions can add up and truly matter.

Meet EU Climate Pact Ambassadors Simone and Tiziana for a nature walk where you'll discover how to protect the health of our neighborhood forests.

Take part in our biodiversity game using the Inaturalist app and try to win a delicious sustainable prize!

What a fantastic Europe Day at Wiltz Castle! 🇪🇺✨

Beyond celebrating the peace and unity, we took the opportunity to talk about our shared future: the climate. 🌍

Our European Climate Pact Ambassadors, Jennifer Feschuk and Nuray Unlu-Bohn, turned climate action into a game! 🎲 By guiding children through our Climate board game, they opened up a wonderful dialogue about how small acts at home can reduce our environmental footprint.

We talked about:
♻️ Recycling and sorting your waste
🧶 Putting on a sweater instead of the heat
🌳 Planting trees and installing renewables

Thank you to everyone who joined these friendly and open discussions. Together, we’re building a greener Europe!

🌱 Learn about their projects and initiatives in climate action and find out how you can get involved in local impact at the EU level and be a part of climate solutions.

🏰 The European Village will have loads of activities for families and citizens to learn about the EU, all our member states and institutions of the European Union: culinary specialties, crafts, games, culture and much more!

💚 If you'd like to commit to more climate-friendly actions but don't know where to start, our Ambassadors have plenty of ideas on how to re-think your favorite activity or next purchase so that it can be more climate-smart!
