Commercial Contractor Association of Lake-Sumter was organized to give a voice to the commercial construction industry in Lake & Sumter Counties. Our Mission Statement is to be an affordable association created by commercial contractors, subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers, and related business professionals for the sole purpose of establishing a network to develop and promote the commercial
contracting industry through local government involvement, education, networking events, and shared common interests. The focus of the Association will be the commercial construction industry — nothing more. The CCA of Lake-Sumter will be an advocate for local participation, creating local labor sources, safety training, building code updates, and to facilitate a better understanding between local building officials and those within the industry. Membership will consist of commercial contractors, commercial subcontractors, commercial business professionals, commercial suppliers and commercial manufacturers who have a stake in Lake or Sumter County. The CCA of Lake-Sumter is not going to be a social club and it will not be a fundraising apparatus for various causes. Its focus is to promote business with and for its members in the local area. We want to bring together the very best in the commercial construction industry to fulfill our mission statement and purpose. During the lunch, we will present the Association By-Laws, outline the organizational chart, review objectives, and listen to your ideas and suggestions. There is no obligation to join, membership dues will be very minimal and the group will keep all meetings very affordable.
