Back to the last edition of the European Cocktail Championship, which took place in Cyprus.
, our winner of the previous contest, represented Luxembourg with his "Spicy Jungle" cocktail, made with Mezcal, Passoa, Amaretto, Homemade Spicy Jungle Juice, Passion Fruit Syrup, and Bergamot/Mandarin Soda.

Unfortunately, no podium this year, but a wonderful 6th place and a beautiful experience with many memories.

Back to the 2026's edition of the European Cocktail Championship, which took place for the first time in Cyprus.

Back to last week at the .lu , where our national selection took place to choose our participant for the European Cocktail Championship that will be held in Cyprus.

Twelve bartenders participated in this competition, each with their own ideas and inspirations.

The rules of the contest were simple: create a long drink cocktail with one of the fruit purees from Pontier and one product from Campari Group.

And after a beautiful afternoon of competition, the judges chose their favorites.

The person who will represent Luxembourg is from .

Closely followed by from in second position.

And finally, from in third position.

Thanks to our jury for their time:

Review of our competition for the Mattoni selection on Monday, September 29 at the Royal Hotel in Luxembourg.

The rule was simple, create an alcohol-free cocktail to be completed with minimum 10cl of mattoni water and no more than 65kcal/100ml.

Congratulations to our winner who wins this 2025 edition and who will have the honour to represent the Luxembourg in Karlovy Vary in Czech Republic for the Big Finale (if he is selected by the Organisers of Mattoni Grand Drink)

Also a big thanks to all the other participants who were able to show imagination and creation to create their cocktails.

We would also like to thank the member of our technical jury Mr Paul BERTRAND from Union of Belgium Bartender's and our tasting jury of the day : Bruno SANFILIPPO, Christiane GRAFE and Philippe for their presence.

24th of February International Bartenders’ Day!!

Today, we celebrate the dedication, artistry, and community spirit of bartenders around the world. This day also marks the foundation of the International Bartenders Association that celebrates it’s 74th anniversary.
Bartending’s history stretches back centuries, with roots in ancient societies.
Today, bartending is a constantly evolving profession, with new techniques and ingredients emerging.
We thank all our bartenders that remember guests favorite drinks, the skilled mixologists who create signature cocktails, the friendly faces that makes you feel welcome and comfortable.
Let’s raise our glasses to celebrate and honor our Bar Heroes! Cheers!!
