🏙️ What happens when cities invest in the arts?

A recent op-ed in Next City by David Andersson, from the Arts & Culture Team at Bloomberg Associates, explores how municipal support can help cities’ arts sectors recover and thrive, and why strong arts ecosystems matter for more than just the cultural economy.

The piece highlights recent research from our EpiArts Lab exploring how engaging with art may influence the aging process, offering another perspective on why the arts are an important part of healthy, livable communities.
