Arc-2-Work Program: The Arc of Alachua County Arc-2-Work offers pre-employment classes and places it's students in Volunteer positions with business partners to gain work experience.

Arc-2-Work is a Grant Program written by staff at Arc of Alachua County and funded through the Florida Department of Education. We work in conjunction with Florida Vocational Rehabilitation. Our program is available to the Intellectually Disabled and Veterans for Pre-Employment Job Training. Our program partners with Businesses in Alachua County to provide Volunteer Opportunities for our client st

udents. A Memorandum of Understanding is drawn up, we provide all liability insurance through the Arc of Alachua County and more. Partnering is at no cost to the business and essentially they are provided with free labor.
