A member of APELLIS and a national representative for secondary education, Ms. Yana Goes, took part on Wednesday, July 1, in an informal meeting with the Prime Minister to discuss the challenges faced by education and potential measures to improve the system. Ms. Goes and other education stakeholders engaged in a spontaneous discussion with the Prime Minister over breakfast about their experiences and current issues, such as the use of screens and social networks by young people, school challenges, mobbing, and others.

We held our first SEN session yesterday to exchange and share experiences with neurodivergent children participating in a school journey. While there are still some challenges, we believe in the power of communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.

Free DYSCoffee in Luxembourg city on Saturday 20 June at 2pm

Dyspraxie.lu is pleased to collaborate with the ALDIC (Luxembourgish Association for Intercultural Dialogue) to organise this DYSCoffee open to all.

Objectives:

🎯 Learn about DYS conditions (dyslexia, dyspraxia, etc...)
🎯 Understand the difficulties in the school setting and what technological compensation tools (computer/iPad) bring to the classroom and exams
🎯 Meet other DYS children, other parents
🎯 See more clearly in the administrative procedure

We are proud to share that Lënster Lycée International School ._school , together with Apellis (the LLIS Parents’ Association) has donated €1,750 to Fondation Autisme Luxembourg Fondation Autisme Luxembourg

This donation was made possible thanks to the funds raised during our Christmas Market, through the incredible dedication and creativity of our students, parents, and the entire school community. 🎄

The cheque handover was a special moment that allowed our students to see the real impact of their efforts and generosity. Their hard work in preparing and selling items at the Christmas Market has now turned into meaningful support for the important work carried out by Fondation Autisme Luxembourg.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this initiative such a success. Together, we can make a difference. 💙
