POISED FOR SUCCESS: THE MAIDEN TASK OF PALESA

When the poignant tidings that the award winning rugby coach Roy Zhou would not be able to goad the national 7’s girls outfit, due to health concerns surfaced, the timid Palesa Pitso was handed the reins at the eleventh hour, armed with zero tournament preparations dispositions.

Like a true fighter, Palesa Pitso, guided by the veteran Ronald Doyle as the newly appointed technical advisor embraced the challenge, disregarding the fact that it was her maiden task - she had never coached national team before.

She majestically led the Lesotho national 7’s aside team to their fourth Khan'sicala Rugby 7's Festival win conceding only one loss against the Mpumalanga based champions Embalenhle.

Federation of Lesotho Rugby and Econet Rugby League are proud of coach Palesa Pitso, coach Morapeli Motaung, the technical advisor, Ronald Doyle, the medic team and the men and women of rugby players who selflessly dedicated themselves for the country.
