Join the Eco-Alliance – Take Climate Action in Voinjama City!
Africa Peace Network (AP-Net) is now accepting applications for passionate and committed individuals to join the Eco-Alliance Project – a bold community initiative designed to reduce pollution, restore green spaces, and build a climate-resilient Voinjama City.
As a volunteer, you will play a direct role in transforming your city through weekly clean-up campaigns and tree planting exercises across various communities every Saturday, from August 2025 to February 2026.

We welcome:
β€’ Students & youth groups
β€’ Environmental advocates
β€’ Community leaders
β€’ Women’s groups
β€’ Persons with disabilities
β€’ Faith-based groups and civic-minded citizens
(Ages 15 and above)

🎯 Volunteer Responsibilities:
β€’ Participate in weekly Saturday clean-up exercises
β€’ Assist in planting and caring for trees
β€’ Support climate awareness activities in schools and communities
β€’ Help document activities and encourage community participation

🎁 What You Will Gain:

β€’ Opportunity to become a Community Eco-Champion
β€’ Hands-on leadership experience in environmental action

(Focus communities include New Voinjama, Telbomai Community, Bazzie Quarter, Kupee Community, Kowulene Community, Kazzie Community, New Life Community, Kissi Quarter and Looking Town Community)

Africa Peace Network is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of a partnership agreement meeting with the Voinjama City Corporation for the implementation of the Eco-Alliance Projectβ€”a six-month climate adaptation initiative.

The project will engage nine (9) communities in clean-up campaigns, tree planting, and public awareness to strengthen grassroots resilience to climate change.

We commend the Voinjama City Corporation for its commitment to local climate action and look forward to impactful collaboration.
