Grand Gedeh Students’ Union (GGSU)
The Grand Gedeh Students’ Union (GGSU) is pleased to officially announce the appointment of Mr. Felton W. Gayee as county Coach of the Grand Gedeh County Quizzing Team.
This appointment is based on his outstanding experience, academic excellence, leadership abilities, and remarkable contributions to academic quizzing in Grand Gedeh County and Liberia at large.
Mr. Gayee is widely recognized as a ten-time Best Scientist in Grand Gedeh County and a four-time recipient of the Most Valuable Quizzer (MVQ) Award. Throughout his academic journey, he has consistently demonstrated excellence, discipline, and outstanding leadership in science education and quizzing competitions. His remarkable achievements and unwavering commitment to academic development continue to inspire and motivate many young students across the county to pursue excellence in education and intellectual growth.
In addition, he successfully won the LINSU Tournament in 2016 and also earned recognition as one of the best science students during his academic journey. His achievements reflect discipline, hard work, consistency, and a deep commitment to educational excellence.
Mr. Gayee also served as County Coach for Our Lady of Fatima in the LMDI Quizzing Tournament, where he guided the institution to remarkable success and was honored twice as the Best Coach of the competition. His coaching philosophy, strategic thinking, and dedication to student mentorship have produced exceptional results over the years.
Furthermore, he coached the Grand Gedeh County Quizzing Team in 2023 and led the team to the finals of the national competition. Although the team narrowly missed the championship title, his leadership demonstrated resilience, determination, and the competitive spirit of Grand Gedeh County.
The leadership of GGSU believes that Mr. Felton W. Gayee possesses the vision, experience, and technical capacity required to strengthen the county’s academic performance and prepare students for greater achievements in future quizzing competitions.
As an institution committed to promoting academic excellence, youth empowerment, and intellectual development, GGSU remains confident that under his leadership, the Grand Gedeh County Quizzing Team will continue to grow and achieve greater success on both county and national levels.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Coach Felton W. Gayee on this well-deserved appointment and wish him success as he assumes this important responsibility.
