Liberia Innovative Sustainable Initiatives LISI is joined in collaboration with the Female Journalist Association of Liberia (FeJaL), A two Civil Society Organizations in Liberia collaborating efforts on the 16 Days of Activism, a global campaign Against Gender-Based Violence.
Gender-based violence (GBV) remains one of the most prevalent violations of human rights, affecting millions of individuals across the globe. It encompasses a range of abuses, including physical, sexual, emotional, and economic harm, predominantly targeting women and marginalized genders.
The activism is an internationally recognized campaign that takes place annually from November 25th (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10th (Human Rights Day). This campaign serves as a vital platform to raise awareness and mobilize action towards ending GBV.
