ICCHR Cohort 1 Candidates SITE VISIT REPORT on the official LinkedIn Page of Firestone Liberia
Cohort 1 Candidates from the Monrovia-based Institute of Climate Change and Health Research (ICCHR) recently conducted an educational site visit to Firestone Liberia. The purpose of the visit was to gain a practical, firsthand understanding of sustainable, clean energy production and its intersection with environmental health.
Candidates observed a facility that has operated sustainably and been maintained for over seven decades. Firestone Liberia highlighted its ongoing commitment to education, supporting nearly 6,400 employee dependents through its school system and contributing over US $2 million in student scholarships in Margibi since the end of the civil conflict.
