What a week it has been at Wubu Foundation for Deaf children's Development international. Our deaf students participated in a workshop which was facilitated by Samaritan Purse. The students learned a lot about how to overcome challenges, the gospel from the Bible and so much more.
At the close of the workshop, the students received backpacks loaded with notebooks, pen, pencil and other items.

We are grateful to our partner Samaritan Purse for once again providing much needed support to our deaf students. Thanks to all the trainers, the interpret, caterers, and everyone for the job well done.

Thanks to our CEO Madam Olina Bailey, Founder Wubu Geraldine Hendricks and Co-chairman Amb Tani Konateh for facilitating this process.

Today, we laid to rest Rev. Dr. Emmanuel F. Baileyβ€”a servant of God whose life was marked by faith, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to humanity.

Rev. Dr. Bailey was more than a clergyman; he was a mentor, a counselor, and a pillar of hope to many. Through his words and deeds, he inspired compassion, integrity, and steadfast belief, touching lives across generations. His legacy lives on in the hearts he guided, the communities he strengthened, and the values he upheld with grace.

As we bid him farewell, we do so with gratitude for a life well lived and a mission faithfully fulfilled. May his soul rest in perfect peace, and may his light continue to shine through all who were blessed to know him.

Rest well, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel F. Bailey. Your work speaks, and your legacy endures. Gone, but never will be forgotten!!!

It was a long day today at Wubu Foundation for Deaf children's Development international. First we had suprise visit from Hope for Liberia. They provided, through their Founder, Eli Gbayee and his team, 10 bags of rice, sardines, oil and magi cubes. This is indeed a blessing. Our students will have food for the holidays and beyond. On behalf of the Founder Madam Wubu Geraldine Hendricks, Co-founder Amb Tani Konateh Jr., CEO Madam Olina Bailey, the Director thanked the team for their generous gesture. We look forward to continuing the cordial working relationship.

Later in the afternoon, a small program was held to bid our students farewell, as they leave for the holidays. We held a party for the students and deaf children, and the CEO Madam Bailey thanked everyone for their support. She reminded all about the sudden demise of her Brother, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Bailey, and said times we very sad for the family, but she had to make time to be with the students. She encouraged members of the public to come and support the organization. She was joined by our Board Member Madam Elsa Draper.

We are grateful to all who continue to support the organization.

Video of the food donation is in the comment section.

Our friends from Samaritan Purse paid us a surprising visit earlier today. They asked a lot of questions about our partnership during the last year and our vision for the future. They were excited to see the program we were running for Deaf children at our institution.

The Director provided a comprehensive overview of our activities and vision, and spoke about the vision of the founders and their plans for the Deaf children of Liberia.
Samaritan Purse staff members visiting Liberia were very happy to interact with the children and look forward to a fruitful working relationship.

We are grateful for the material support they have provided over the last year. We look forward to working with them during the coming year.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to Madam Elsa Bailey Draper. What a show of true love. On the occasion marking her birth anniversary, she spent time share with the deaf and visually impaired children yesterday. On a brief visit to our offices, she shared some food items with the deaf children. Thank you ma'am. As we often say in Liberia, 'where it came from, let more go back there'.
Happy birthday!
