Training Day at Yugnet Liberia- Building Practical Skills Through Hands-On Learning!

YUGNet-Liberia staff participated in a practical, hands-on training session focused on strengthening their capacity in problem tree analysis, program design, and narrative reporting.

The session moved beyond theory, allowing staff to work directly on real programming scenarios—identifying root causes, core problems, and consequences, translating findings into coherent program interventions, and developing clear, evidence-based narrative reports.

The training is part of YUGNet-Liberia’s ongoing effort to build a competent, accountable, and results-oriented team capable of designing quality programs, documenting impact, and delivering effective community interventions.

YUGNet-Liberia ENGAGES The Ministry of Youth and Sports Liberia ON YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND PARTNERSHIP

MONROVIA, LIBERIA | OCTOBER 7, 2026

Yugnet Liberia today held a strategic engagement with the Director for Youth Development at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Hon. Samuel James Kpartor at his office in Paynesville City.

The engagement focused on the YUGNet Training Academy , institutional partnership, youth skills development, coordination, and opportunities for sustained collaboration to expand meaningful opportunities for young Liberians.

Hon. Samuel Kpartor welcomed the delegation and commended the organization for its continued commitment to youth empowerment, environmental sustainability, leadership development, and community-driven action. He expressed his willingness to support a stronger and more sustainable partnership and engagement between the Ministry and YUGNet-Liberia.

During the meeting, YUGNet-Liberia Executive Director Abba Sampson Godsent Wherdaigar highlighted the organization’s vision for the YUGNet Training Academy as a platform for equipping young people with practical skills, leadership capacity, entrepreneurship opportunities, and pathways toward employment and sustainable livelihoods.

The discussion also explored opportunities for improved coordination and collaboration in advancing youth development priorities across Liberia.

Representing YUGNet-Liberia alongside the Executive Director was Ms. Agatha Ella Kofa , Eco Clubs Coordinator, who contributed to discussions on youth participation, environmental education, and community-based youth engagement.

YUGNet-Liberia remains committed to building strategic partnerships that move beyond dialogue toward practical action, measurable impact, and greater opportunities for young people.
