Today, members and executives of 𝐋𝐞𝐭'𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐋𝐞𝐂𝐀𝐅) came together at 𝑨'𝒍𝒂 𝑳𝒂𝒈𝒖𝒏𝒆, 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒐 𝑻𝒐𝒘𝒏, for an important working session focused on onboarding new volunteers, strengthening the team, reviewing work, and preparing for the last quarter of the year.

The session created a space for meaningful conversation, idea sharing, reflection, and planning. 𝐋𝐞𝐂𝐀𝐅𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 had the opportunity to discuss ongoing activities, identify areas for improvement, and talk about practical ways to work together more effectively.

As we continue our journey of empowering children, youth, and women, we remain committed to 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌, 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒕.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR VACATION ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

As we bring the Vacation Enrichment Program to a successful close, we want to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to making this program a success.

Over the past five weeks, our students participated in practical learning activities across Microsoft Office Suite, Social Media Management & Personal Branding, and Career Guidance & CV Writing. The program was designed to help students strengthen their academic abilities, develop practical digital skills, improve their communication and personal branding, and better prepare for future educational and career opportunities.

Our students successfully completed the program with a final written assessment and presentations, giving them the opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge and skills they gained throughout the training. The program concluded with a closing ceremony and certificate presentation, where students were recognized for their participation, commitment, and successful completion of the program.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to our facilitators Perry Duogon, Philip Freeman, Luogon, who contributed their time, patience, and encouragement throughout the program. Your support made it possible for us to provide this learning opportunity and create a positive experience for our students. We also sincerely appreciate SWEEP-Liberia Academy & TVET for providing us with the space and partnering with us to make the program possible. Your support and collaboration contributed greatly to the success of the Vacation Enrichment Program.

To our students, congratulations on completing the program. Your participation, effort, and willingness to learn made this journey worthwhile. We encourage you to carry the knowledge and skills gained here into your education, careers, and everyday lives.

Our Executive Director, Perry Duogon along with more than 20 civil society organizations, youth movements, women-led groups, and climate justice advocates, officially launched the National Debt–Climate Audit Report and signed the Declaration yesterday in Monrovia. This report is tagged "Who Owes Who" and is the Monrovia Declaration on Climate Justice and Debt Justice, which was signed.

The report was officially launched by the Executive Director of Liberia's Environmental Protection Agency, Hon. K. Yarkpawolo.

With Liberia's current emission rate at 0.03%, Liberia is contributing less or nothing at all. As Liberia continues to confront the impacts of climate change, debt justice and climate justice must go hand in hand. Every dollar saved through fair debt policies is a dollar that can be invested in education, healthcare, climate resilience, and sustainable development.

Today's session was filled with energy, creativity, and collaboration as our students confidently delivered presentations, demonstrating what they have learned so far. They also participated in an engaging online group activity that strengthened their teamwork, communication, and digital collaboration skills.

A special appreciation goes to Mr. Perry Duogon, our facilitator for Social Media Management & Personal Branding, for delivering such an interactive, practical, and inspiring session.

Every day, our students are gaining new knowledge, building confidence, and developing valuable skills that will prepare them for academic and professional success.
