In support of this vision, IMPACT-Liberia has stepped up its efforts to empower young women and girls through vocational opportunities. As part of this initiative, the organization awarded scholarships to a few girls to study beauty care, providing them with practical skills that can help them earn a living and become self-reliant.
Through programs like this, IMPACT-Liberia continues to promote confidence, independence, and economic empowerment among women and girls, helping them become active contributors to community growth and development.

Early last month, IMPACT-Liberia expanded its commitment to empowering women and girls through education and skills development. As part of this effort, 15 women and young girls were awarded scholarships to attend vocational skills training focused on event decoration and bead making.
This scholarship program aims to equip participants with practical, income generating skills that can help them become self reliant and contribute positively to their families and communities. Through the training, the beneficiaries are gaining hands-on experience in creative event decoration and the art of bead making skills that are in high demand for celebrations, ceremonies, and fashion accessories.
By investing in the potential of these women and girls, IMPACT-Liberia continues to create opportunities that promote entrepreneurship, creativity, and economic empowerment. The organization remains committed to supporting initiatives that help individuals discover their talents, develop their abilities, and build a brighter future.

Empowering Women and Girls Through Skills Training IMPACT-Liberia

IMPACT-Liberia remains committed to empowering women and young girls to realize their potential and make productive use of their hands through skills development initiatives. As part of this commitment, the organization sponsored 25 women and young girls to learn catering, providing them with an opportunity to acquire practical knowledge and vocational skills that can help them build sustainable livelihoods.
Through this sponsorship, the participants were trained in various aspects of catering, including food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and basic catering services. The training not only equipped them with valuable skills but also boosted their confidence and encouraged them to pursue self-reliance and entrepreneurship.
This initiative reflects IMPACT-Liberia’s belief that when women and girls are empowered with practical skills, they are better positioned to support themselves, contribute to their families, and positively impact their communities.

IMPACT-LIBERIA Supporting School Children for the 2025/2026 Academic Year

As part of its continued commitment to youth empowerment and educational support, IMPACT-LIBERIA identified with several school going children ahead of the 2025/2026 academic year. Recognizing that access to learning materials is essential for academic success, the organization reached out to students and families within the Joe bar community precisely at the Mount Sanai school to provide much needed educational support. Through this initiative, IMPACT-LIBERIA shared books and learning materials with the students, helping to ease the burden on parents and ensure that the children begin the new school year better prepared.
The distribution of these books was not only a gesture of support but also a reminder to the children that their education matters and that the community believes in their potential.
