We are grassroots Non-governmental organization legally established August 19, 2020. We work within the community by implementing projects and programs that target the socio-economic wellbeing and human rights of underprivileged girls and marginalized women in Liberia. WON started as a com

munity based girls institution to help adolescence girls early 2019 with reading and life skills and has transitioned to a full legally women and girls organization reaching hundreds of girls in local communities. Our aim is to build and mentor the future leaders we want tomorrow, where our next generation can expose their hidden potentials. Mission

human rights of under privilege and marginalized young women and girls through capacity building seminars, community outreach projects and educational support. WON intent is to help fulfil women and girls potential by empowering them through education – High School & College, Vocational & Life Skills, and allowing them to become confident, career focus and productive future leaders. Our Projects

Education & Outreach
Women-Net Organization currently works with high school going kids through after School enhancement Programs. Life Skills
WON is currently training and inspiring women and girls in low income communities to be handy by involvement in set skills like baking, agriculture, and etc. The products from these ventures are marketed to help local fund the program and income to these girls for other essential purposes. Mentorship
• Women-Net Organization mentorship program educate, and encourages our women and girls to become career-focused in order for their inherent strength to be expose.

• WON Volunteer trainers, provides encouragement for our mentees dream of countless careers possibilities and the fruitful future ahead..

• Women-Net Organization, Mentors serves as Role Models; in helping to mentor the leaders we want tomorrow and help them unlock their hidden potentials. OUR TEENS LIFE ETHICS & HEALTH
Women-Net Organization reaches out to teenagers engage in to s*x and those who are currently mothers and would-be mothers by sensitizing them on Post Maternal Recovery & Child Care. Also, we provide minimum help to less fortunate teenage mothers through our local support system from sponsors. For more pictures see down below in our gallery! Menstrual Hygiene Day Celebration
In observance of Menstrual Hygiene Day Women-Net Organization shares with women and girls at orphanages and low income communities. We provided menstrual hygiene tools and educate them on how to deal with their hygiene issues as a woman why menstruating. We Find & Fund

An entrepreneur or NGO without funding is a musician without an investment. Therefore, through our works and actions we outsource funds for project, relief and investment in human capital.

Madam Ruth Y. Knight served as our international guest speaker at the “Inspiring Her to Lead” Seminar, traveling from the United States of America to participate in the program. During her presentation, she spoke on the importance of volunteerism, highlighting how volunteering can shape personal growth, strengthen communities, and create meaningful opportunities for leadership and service.

Drawing from both her past and present experiences, Mrs. Knight shared inspiring stories about her journey in volunteer work and the impact it has had on her personal and professional development. She encouraged participants, particularly young women, to embrace volunteerism as a pathway to gaining practical skills, building networks, and contributing positively to society.

Her presentation resonated strongly with the audience, motivating many to recognize the value of service and community engagement. Ms. Knight’s insights reinforced the idea that volunteering is not only an act of service but also a powerful tool for empowerment and leadership development.

On behalf of our dedicated staff, volunteers, and valued sponsors, we extend warm wishes to all women and girls on the occasion of International Women’s Day. This important day provides an opportunity to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women while also reaffirming our collective commitment to advancing gender equality and empowerment.

Over the years, our organization has remained actively engaged in advocacy, educational support, mentorship, and community outreach initiatives aimed at empowering women and girls. Through these programs, we have had the privilege of supporting and impacting hundreds of women and young girls, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to pursue their goals and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Our work has focused on creating opportunities that promote leadership development, access to education, and personal growth. By partnering with committed volunteers, stakeholders, and sponsors, we continue to build platforms that amplify the voices of women and encourage their active participation in social, economic, and civic life.

Madam KouLove Tom, President of the Young African Women Congress, Liberia Branch, served as one of the guest speakers at the Women-Net Organization-WON “Inspiring Her to Lead” Seminar. She delivered an engaging and insightful presentation on the topic “How to Become an Inspiring Leader.”

During her presentation, Madam Kwia highlighted the essential qualities of effective leadership, emphasizing integrity, confidence, vision, and the ability to positively influence others. Honorable Florence Geegbae, is the Managing Director of the Liberia National Housing Authority, she served as one of the distinguished guest speakers at our 'Inspiring Her to Lead ' seminar and she delivered an insightful presentation on “Women in Leadership: Fact vs. Stereotype.” In her address, she thoughtfully examined the common misconceptions and societal stereotypes that often limit women’s participation and advancement in leadership roles.

Drawing from real life experiences and practical examples, she emphasized that leadership capacity is determined by competence, vision, and dedication—not by gender.

Hon. Geegbae encouraged young women to challenge limiting narratives and to confidently pursue leadership opportunities in their communities, schools, and professional spaces. She also highlighted the importance of education, mentorship, and self belief in overcoming barriers that women frequently face in male dominated environments. Her presentation inspired participants to critically reflect on the difference between societal perceptions and the realities of women’s leadership capabilities.

Join Women-Net Organization (WON) this Friday, 6 March 2026, at 9:00 AM for the second leg of the ‘Inspiring Her To Lead’ Seminar a dynamic and empowering program dedicated to shaping the next generation of female leaders.
The Inspiring Her To Lead Seminar is one of our organization’s flagship annual initiatives designed to equip high school girls with the confidence, leadership skills, and mindset needed to step into leadership roles.

The program empowers participants to increase productivity, excel in traditionally male-dominated fields, and contribute to building inclusive, high-performing communities.

This Year’s Focus Areas
Friday’s session will explore four key themes:
• How to Become an Inspiring Leader
• Women in Leadership: Facts vs. Stereotypes
• The Importance of Volunteerism
• Career Guidance and Personal Development

Over 30 students from Grades 10–12, representing two schools, are expected to participate in this impactful learning experience.

Women-Net Organization Annual Christmas Outreach for kids was a success.

This year, one hundred and thirty (130) kids from two Government hospitals, Redemption and James Davies including a community clinic benefited from our Christmas Outreach.

Beneficiaries were babies ranging from 0-month to 5-years old toddlers.

Items distributed were pampers, babies clothing and toys.

The day was all about joy, gifts and putting smiles on babies and their mothers faces ahead of the holidays.
