Knowledgement Of GLO UNION
Groves Learning Organization (GLO) is a nonprofit educational ecosystem that focuses on building literacy, advocate for all students, including those who learn differently. We aim to empower students to discover their brilliance and promote evidence-based literacy instruction.
GLO comprises three main programs
Groves Academy*: A school for students in grades 1-12 who have strong learning abilities but may struggle with dyslexia or other learning differences.
Groves Learning Center*: Offers diagnostic assessments, tutoring, speech-language therapy, and summer programs for students with learning challenges.
Groves Literacy Partnerships*: Shares evidence-based teaching methods with educators and schools to improve literacy instruction.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Aims and objectives are two related but distinct concepts.
Aims:
Are broad, general statements that describe the desired outcomes or overall purpose.
Provide direction and inspiration for educational or organizational endeavors.
Are often long-term and idealistic.
Examples include:
Promoting individual development*: fostering intellectual, emotional, social and physical growth.
Encouraging social responsibility developing informed, active citizens.
Developing scientific temper promoting inquiry-based learning.
*Objectives:*
Are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound (SMART) targets.
Provide a clear roadmap for achieving the desired outcomes.
Are often short-term and concrete.
Examples include
Cognitive objectives, analyzing team dynamics, explaining scientific concepts.
Psychomotor objectives demonstrating active listening, conducting experiments.
Affective objectives exhibiting empathy, valuing teamwork.
In essence, aims provide the vision and direction, while objectives offer the practical steps to achieve that vision. Both are essential for effective planning and implementation in education and organizational settings
