The Society is not only for older people — but rather is for the young people. It was founded in 1833 by University students, led by a 20-year-old youth and Law Student named Blessed Frédéric Ozanam.

They came together to put their faith into action by serving Christ in the poor. That same youthful spirit is alive today.

The Society needs you — your energy, your ideas, your compassion. By joining, you don’t just become part of a local group; you join a worldwide family of over 800,000 Vincentians.

Together, we grow in faith, build friendships, and bring hope to those in need.

My dear friends, the future of the Society lies in the hearts of the youths. Just as Ozanam answered the call in his time, it is now our turn. Don’t wait for tomorrow — join us today and make a difference.

Young Vincentian at the Archdiocese of Monrovia Youth Mass. It was also a means of carrying on awareness for the Society and a means of recruiting young people for the Young Vincentian family of Liberia.
