Today, Aid-Her Liberia’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Advancement Program (WEAP) 2026 had the honor of hearing from Deborah Gonkpah during our session, “From Liberia to Legacy.”

Deborah is a SHE-CAN Scholar, the founder of WeCanLiberia, a nonprofit organization inspiring the Liberian dream of sustainable development, and the founder of Debrasca, a sourcing, purchasing, and shipping company that connects clients with global suppliers and manufacturers.

During the session, she shared her journey, experiences, and valuable lessons on entrepreneurship, leadership, resilience, and building an international business.

Our participants were inspired by her story and had the opportunity to ask questions and receive practical advice for their own entrepreneurial journeys.

We sincerely thank Deborah for sharing her time, knowledge, and encouragement with the WEAP 2026 participants.

In observance of Liberia’s Independence Day, Aid-Her Liberia successfully carried out a community distribution event supporting 25 single mothers with bags of rice and other essential household items.

This initiative was a meaningful reminder that celebrating our nation also means caring for those in our communities who need support. We are deeply grateful to our supporters, the Dyer Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and our amazing Aid-Her Liberia team for helping make this project possible.

Together, we are creating impact, restoring hope, and supporting women and families across Liberia.

In observance of Liberia’s Independence Day, Aid-Her Liberia will honor mothers, the strength and backbone of our nation. We will provide care packages, food, and other essential household items. WEAP 2026 Continues Tomorrow!

Tomorrow, July 11, we're excited to welcome Jennifer Maxwell as our next WEAP 2026 Facilitator!

Jennifer will lead our Business Management Fundamentals session, equipping participants with practical strategies to manage, grow, and sustain successful businesses.

Meet Jennifer Maxwell
Jennifer Maxwell is the Founder of Ciatta LLC, where she combines her business and engineering expertise to develop high-quality medical devices and women's health products. As an entrepreneur actively building her own company, she understands the discipline, planning, and resilience required to transform innovative ideas into successful ventures.

Jennifer also leads RED (Real Education for Dignity) Liberia, an organization dedicated to empowering young girls through menstrual health education. By blending technical expertise with community impact, she brings a practical, real-world perspective that will inspire and equip the next generation of women entrepreneurs.

What an incredible day for Aid-Her Liberia (WEAP) 2026 Cohort

We are excited to celebrate the successful completion of our second session, where our participants explored The Entrepreneur's Leadership Mindset. The session challenged our young women to think beyond simply owning a business and inspired them to become confident, purpose-driven leaders who can create lasting impact in their communities.

Meet Our WEAP 2026 Facilitator

Deb Stellato is a Leadership Mindset Coach dedicated to empowering women and strengthening nonprofit organizations through intentional leadership and personal growth.

As the former CEO of two nonprofit organizations and the founder of Think Good Coaching & Consulting, Deb brings decades of leadership experience, strategic insight, and a passion for helping others lead with confidence and purpose.

Deb is also a mentor to Peaches Dargbeh, Founder and Executive Director of Aid-Her Liberia. Through her mentorship, Deb has supported Peaches' leadership journey and commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs in Liberia.

We are honored to have Deb join the WEAP 2026 cohort as our Leadership Session facilitator, where she will equip participants with the mindset, confidence, and leadership skills needed to build successful businesses and create lasting impact in their communities.
