Saying no to GBV remains our biggest goal in supporting the fight against GBV in a forms.

Rainbo Initiative Liberia remains committed in the fight against GBV by ensuring that the preventive measures are taken to schools and communities.

RIL successfully completed five days training with the 60 (50 students, 10 teachers) established School Related Gender Based Violence (SRGBV) group members on GBV preventive measures and the referral pathways method in 10 schools in rural Montserrado County.

Yesterday, along with Liberia Women Empowerment Network (LIWEN) and Action for Girls Empowerment (AGE), we had a joint partnership session at LIWEN'S office in the Mt. Barclay community.
The meeting focused on building a lasting consortium to support the fight against GBV and other harmful practices against women and girls in all forms.
At Rainbo Initiative Liberia, we remain committed in the fight for humanity against Gender Based Violence 👏

In the wake of responding to GBV in Liberia, Rainbo Initiative Liberia had a partnership meeting with the LNP/ Director of Women and Children Division and the GBV legal department, to ensure survivors are supported by providing transportation services.
As the project begins, RIL is committed to seeing justice served for GBV survivors as we anticipate partnership.

Today was another facelift of intervention by Rainbo Initiative Liberia at the DEO's office in the Mt. Barclay community, Montserrado II educational district.
The National Coordinator of the Rainbo Initiative Liberia had a one to one engagement with the DEO's assistant at the DEO's office on the RIL interventions with SRSGBV.
It was a well engaged meeting with a fruitful outcomes.
Let's keep changing the narrative of SGBV prevention till we succeed in ending SGBV in Liberia.

At Rainbo Initiative Liberia, we stop by today to say;
Be supportive by keeping yourself, your family and community healthy and protected from any form of violence.

Say no to any form of violence – including physical, emotional, psychological, sexual or economic violence.

Nothing can be an excuse for violence against women and children.

Together, we can make our nation a violence free by reporting every GBV cases.
Remember the RIL is here as one of the strongest forces to combat SGBV and we are open to partnership🤝

At Rainbo Initiative Liberia, we keep progressing in the fright to end SGBV by working to enforce our strategic plan.
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, a strategic meeting was held by the Board members, organized by the National Coordinator.
The meeting focused on the implementation of the RIL national strategies as part of our work.

At RIL, we are committed and open to partnering with partners in SGBV.

We keep Expanding our efforts at Rainbo Initiative Liberia.
Rainbo Initiative team visited Liberia’s Ministry of Health, meeting with the Family Health Division (Family Planning), External Aid Unit, and Mental Health Division. These connections strengthen our work to support survivors holistically.

New Chapter for Rainbo Initiative Liberia

The Rainbo Federation has signed an MoU with Rainbo Initiative Liberia, strengthening our partnership to end sexual and gender-based violence.

With strong governance, a committed board led by Clr. Isaac George Jr., and a dedicated team headed by Massah Kamara, RIL is poised for greater impact.
