Community Action Network begins implementation of phase two (2) of the "Strong Family Program", in barnesville, Bewhien Community.
Community Action Network Inc with support from the UNODC - United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime through the Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia has begun training of more than ten (10) families under the "Strong Family Program", a program designed to help families build strong resilient to enable them navigate through life challenges experience on a daily basis especially for low income families.
The training which focused on enhancing participants knowledge in understanding stressful situations of both parents and children was highly interactive with participants to reflecting and sharing their own moments of stress they have experienced as families that often times them emotionally broken and stressful.
Participants further expressed gratitude for being selected to form part of such a training helping them gain knowledge that would shift them from previous ways of dealing with stressful situations while building more stronger bond between parents and children.
