The Federation of District #15 Youth (FODY) in collaboration with the Fayiah Care Foundation is pleased to announce the official launch of the Teacher Education Program of the Liberia Standard Teacher Training Institute.

To mark the beginning of this important initiative, a One-Day Launching and Opening Ceremony will be held. All interested individuals are encouraged to attend.

Date: Thursday, April 9, 2026
Time: 1:00 PM
Venue: God’s Champion Church Campus, Logan Town Market

This program is open to high school graduates and individuals who aspire to become professional teachers and contribute to improving education in our communities.

The Federation of District #15 Youth (FODY) proudly hosted its District #15 Spelling Bee Competition (1st Edition 2025–2026) under the theme: “Let the Children Spell: Empowering Young Minds Through Words.”

The exhibition program, held at the Abedu Bentsi Campus in Logan Town, Bushrod Island, marked a significant step in promoting literacy, confidence, and intellectual growth among young people in our district.

We were honored to have Rev. Andrew Fayah as our guest speaker, who demonstrated his commitment to youth development by pledging LRD 40,000 through his foundation to support this initiative. This generous contribution reflects the importance of investing in education and the future of our children.

Additionally, the Federation’s President, Alieu Z. Dorley, used the occasion to call on young people and stakeholders to actively support and invest in such initiatives, emphasizing that empowering young minds today is key to building a stronger and more progressive society tomorrow.

As the competition continues from March 13 to April 24, 2026, with exciting prizes up for grabs, we encourage everyone to stay engaged and support our young spellers as they showcase their brilliance.

Together, let’s continue to inspire, support, and uplift the next generation.

Public Service Announcement

The leadership of the Federation of District #15 Youth (FODY) is excited to announce that the Fayiah Care Foundation has provided financial aid for the training of 100 Youths in teacher's education. This training will focus on obtaining a "C" Certificate in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education, and it will be conducted by the Liberia Standard Teacher Training College (LSTTC) in District 15.

Additionally, the Fayiah Care Foundation's Second Chance Education Project has also offered financial support for the training of 200 youths in various soap-making techniques and small business management skills. Participants will receive certificates upon completion of the training.

The Leadership of the Federation of District #15 Youths is pleased to announce a major educational intervention made possible through the generous support of the Fayiah Care Foundation INC, aimed at strengthening teacher education and youth development in District #15, Montserrado County.

Through this initiative, Fayiah Care Foundation INC has provided financial assistance for the training of 100 emerging teachers, specifically targeting individuals pursuing Primary Education and Early Childhood Education at the Certificate level.

Under the arrangement, Fayiah Care Foundation INC will cover 65% of the total training cost, while beneficiaries will contribute the remaining 35%, ensuring accessibility and shared commitment to professional development.

The one-year training program will be conducted by the Liberia Standard Teacher Training College (LSTTC), a reputable institution accredited by the Bureau of Teacher Education, Ministry of Education. The program is scheduled to officially commence on January 5, 2026.

The Federation of District #15 Youths commends Fayiah Care Foundation INC for this timely and impactful investment in education, which aligns with national efforts to improve teaching standards and expand access to quality learning at the foundational level. This initiative stands as a testament to the Foundation’s dedication to empowering youth and strengthening community-based education.
