PUBLIC INQUIRY ON LEGISLATIVE CONSTITUENCY VISITATION REPORTING

The Federation of District #15 Youth (FODY) has taken note of information published by Naymote regarding the constituency visitation activities of the Representative of Electoral District #15, Hon. Abu Bana Kamara, Sr.

In the interest of transparency, accountability, and public awareness, we respectfully seek clarification on the following:

1. What was the source of the information used by Naymote in assessing or reporting on the Representative's constituency visitation activities?

2. Was a formal report on the lawmaker's workings at the House of Representatives submitted by the Office of the Representative?

3. If such a report was submitted, to which institution or organization was it submitted, and when was the submission made?

4. Can the Office of the Representative make the report publicly available for constituents and stakeholders to review?

As a youth-led advocacy organization committed to civic engagement and good governance, we believe that public access to information strengthens trust between elected officials and the citizens they serve.

We therefore encourage both Naymote and the Office of the Representative to provide clarification on this matter so that constituents can have a clear understanding of the facts.

Transparency remains a cornerstone of accountable leadership and informed citizen participation.

Signed: Federation of District #15 Youth
