Today, December 1, we join Liberia, the Ministry of Health, the National AIDS Commission, and global partners to observe World AIDS Day , a day of remembrance, solidarity, awareness, and renewed commitment.
At Molding MINDS Liberia MML we stand with every person living with HIV. We honor those we have lost, we reject stigma in all forms, and we commit to louder advocacy, stronger education, and more inclusive support for young people, women, and vulnerable communities.
HIV is still real. Stigma is still harming lives. But together, we can build a future where every person has access to testing, treatment, and dignity.

Our Commitment:
Promote awareness and education in communities

Encourage voluntary testing and treatment

Stand firmly against discrimination

Support young people to make informed health choices

Empower women and girls through knowledge and protection

On this World AIDS Day, let us choose compassion over judgment, support over silence, and action over fear.

We join the Gender Ministry of Liberia and our international partners to say: Molding MINDS Liberia MML remains fully committed to the rights, protection, and empowerment of women and girls.

Today marks Day 1 of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence , a global movement powered by the United Nations and anchored in UN Resolution 48/104 (Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women) and UNSCR 1325 on Women, Peace & Security.

2025 Global Theme:
🟧 “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls.”

This year, the world is focusing on the rising danger of online abuse ,cyberbullying, image-based violence, deepfake exploitation, hate speech, threats, gendered misinformation, and all forms of technology-facilitated violence that silence, shame, or endanger women and girls.

As we begin these 16 days, we raise our voices for:

1️⃣ Ending all forms of offline & online violence
2️⃣ Justice, accountability & survivor-centered response
3️⃣ Safe communities and safe digital spaces
4️⃣ Protection in conflict & crisis settings
5️⃣ Women’s leadership, dignity & agency
6️⃣ Ending economic violence
7️⃣ Promoting SRHR & supporting women and girls living with HIV
8️⃣ Ending trafficking & harmful practices
9️⃣ Inclusion of women & girls with disabilities
🔟 Mental health & trauma support
1️⃣1️⃣ Engaging men and boys as partners for change
1️⃣2️⃣ Safe schools, safe campuses
1️⃣3️⃣ Digital safety & online protection
1️⃣4️⃣ Stronger laws and access to justice
1️⃣5️⃣ Support & protection for women human rights defenders
1️⃣6️⃣ Human Rights Day ,Women’s rights are human rights

Violence against women , offline or online , is not normal, not culture, and never acceptable.

Molding MINDS Liberia MML Joins other CSOs to Petition Legislature on the Women and Girls Protection Act, commonly known as the Anti–Harmful Practices Act.

Today, Molding MINDS Liberia proudly stood in solidarity with other civil society organizations as we jointly petitioned the National Legislature to consider passing the Women and Girls Protection Act (Anti–Harmful Practices Act)

This unified action reflects our collective commitment to protecting the rights, safety, and wellbeing of women, girls, and vulnerable communities across Liberia. Harmful traditional practices continue to undermine health, dignity, and development, and passing this bill is a crucial step toward a safer and more just society.

Together, we can create a Liberia free from violence and harmful practices.

IDGC2025
Theme: “Empower Her Mind, Secure Her Future”
(The girl I am ! The change I lead!)

Today, Molding MINDS Liberia MML joins the world in celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child, a day dedicated to amplifying the voices of girls, promoting their rights, and inspiring action toward gender equality.

Across Liberia and the world, girls continue to face barriers that limit their access to education, health, and opportunities. Yet, they remain resilient, creative, and powerful agents of change.

At Molding Minds Liberia, we believe that when you invest in a girl, you invest in a generation. We are committed to creating safe spaces, mentorship programs, and leadership opportunities that enable girls to dream boldly, learn freely, and lead confidently.

Today, we call on everyone , families, communities, and institutions ,to stand with girls everywhere. Let’s break stereotypes, eliminate discrimination, and build a society where every girl can rise, thrive, and shine.

Together, let’s mold minds, empower girls, and build a brighter tomorrow.

Molding MINDS Liberia MML is excited to have been a part of the three-day Conference in Liberia, which was truly impactful and inspiring. Over these days, we learned so much about understanding that our bodies, our health, and our choices are our rights.

The keynote speaker’s powerful address reminded us that empowering individuals with accurate information and access to SRHR services is key to achieving equality and building healthier, more inclusive communities.

We leave this conference energized, informed, and committed to continue advocating for the protection and promotion of sexual and reproductive health and rights across Liberia.
