Positions available: Executive Director, Program Officer, Finance Officer, Communication Officer, and Advocacy Officer.

EIC Liberia Cohort-3 Winners Prize Monies Presentation Ceremony

Youth Arise 4 Development in partner with AfelAfrica , are pleased to inform you that the Economic Impact Challenge (EIC) Liberia Cohort-3 climax and the winners' Prize Monies Presentation Ceremony was successfully held yesterday, January 6, 2026, at the Old Gender Ministry Building, Capitol By-pass, Monrovia, Liberia.

The ceremony brought together the members of the winning universities including, Team Lux-Afel-EIC of the University of Liberia , Team AMEUniversity AFEL EICLiberia of the AME University , and the AFEL Scorpion of the Cuttington University and officials of YARD.

The Liberia National Action Plan (NAP) on Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) 4th and final meeting of the year (2025) was successful today at the Ministry of Youth and Sports — SKD SPORTS COMPLEX. The meeting brought together over 30 different youth organizations plus some ministries including, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, the Liberian Immigration Services, Ministry of Internal Affairs, etc.

We are anticipating our year one implementation plan comes 2026.

📢 NEWS UPDATE | Youth Arise 4 Development (YA4D)

We are proud to announce that our Executive Director, Jutomue Doetein , has successfully completed a four-day session at the International Conference on Family Planning (ICFP) held in Bogotá, South America. 🎉

The conference brought together over 300 global leaders, advocates, and youth representatives to discuss innovative strategies and commitments toward advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), empowering young people, and strengthening family planning initiatives worldwide.

Through active participation in discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, our Executive Director gained valuable insights and partnerships that will contribute to YA4D’s ongoing efforts to promote youth empowerment, gender equality, and access to quality health information and services in Liberia and beyond.

We extend heartfelt appreciation to the organizers of ICFP 2025 for creating a platform that amplifies youth voices and fosters collaboration for sustainable development. 🌍💪
