This Independence Day, let us remember that true freedom and national development can only be achieved when persons with disabilities are fully included in every aspect of society. Inclusion is not an act of charity—it is a matter of justice, dignity, and equal rights. Every Liberian, regardless of ability, deserves access to education, employment, healthcare, leadership, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to our nation's progress.

At Another Life Liberia, we remain committed to promoting inclusion, empowering marginalized communities, and advocating for a Liberia where no one is left behind. As we celebrate our independence, let us build a nation that embraces diversity, values every individual, and ensures that persons with disabilities are recognized not for their limitations, but for their abilities and contributions.

Together, let us build an inclusive Liberia where everyone belongs, everyone participates, and everyone succeeds.

Today, on World Menstrual Hygiene Day, we stand for inclusion, dignity, and equal access to menstrual health for ALL — including persons with disabilities.

Periods do not discriminate, and neither should we. Every girl and woman deserves safe menstrual products, accessible facilities, accurate information, and the freedom to manage their period with dignity.

Let’s break the silence, challenge stigma, and build a world where no one is left behind because of menstruation or disability.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the incredible women across the world, especially to our women with disabilities whose strength and resilience continue to inspire us every single day.

Today we celebrate you for reminding us that a woman’s worth is never measured by her abilities or disabilities. Even when the world calls you weak or incapable, you continue to rise, proving through your courage, determination, and grace that you are powerful beyond measure.
