I. Organization Background:
Humanitarian Development Aid-HDA is a Non-Governmental Organization registered in August 2024 with an objective of improving the educational sector of Liberia through the training of private school teachers as Guidance Counselors. Over the time, the organization had trained ten (10) Guidance Counselors from five (5) private schools.
The NGO has a five-member Board of Directors that consists of individuals with established expertise in supporting education and real passion for the educational advancement of children and youth. The Board is committed to a gender balanced, representative of people from diverse backgrounds (tribe, region, religion, culture, gender, age, and occupation), as well as a Board that can help meet the administrative needs of running the organization, which includes expertise related to accounting, development and philanthropy, government relations, human relations, human rights, the law and legal matters, and children/youth advocacy.

Mission Vision
Train teachers and other school personnel to provide counseling and academic support to children and youth in Liberian KI-12 grade schools.
We envision a nation in which all children and youth receive adequate counseling and academic support in Liberian KI-12 grade schools.

IV. Past Experiences
-Running Project:
1. Currently monitoring and following up on the first batch of Guidance Counselors trained in November 2024.
2. Working with Guidance Counselors to create a smooth working relationships with school administrators.
3. Ten Guidance Counselors are trained and placed in Five schools who are currently rendering counselling services to 706 students

V. Programmed Implemented
1. Conducted workshop for teachers and administrators of Destined Christian Academy. The Workshop focused on the following topics: Lesson Planning, Classroom Management & Teachers’ Professional ethics.

Mr. Isaiah Tulo Chea is our Program Director. He holds an Associate Degree'AA' in Secondary Education from the Grand Gedeh University in July 2019. Mr. Chea is an educator and leader. Currently he is a Senior student of Bachelor Degree at the William V.S Tubman College( English & History) of the University of Liberia. Mr. Chea is currently teaching English and Literature at St. Mukasa Catholic School in Dwarzon, Margibi County.. His desire to serve humanity in the field of Education derived from his philosophy that man's true potential is acquired through proper training....
