🎥 WRAP-UP | Liberia marks a historic first for ( )

Yesterday was a proud and historic moment not just globally, but right here in Liberia as we joined the world to celebrate the very first International Day of Women in Industry, following the landmark decision at in Riyadh.

In Ganta, Nimba County, the energy was inspiring. With support from the European Union, ArcelorMittal, and CFAO Mobility, and in collaboration with the Government of Liberia through the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, we brought together the next generation and the women already breaking barriers in industry.
Students from over 15 high schools engaged directly with women professionals who shared real stories, stories of persistence, growth, and success against the odds.

One thing was clear: Liberia is making progress but the journey continues.
The celebration also sparked meaningful conversations through panel discussions featuring government institutions, private sector partners, the EU, civil society, and student representative all in pushing for greater inclusion and opportunity for women in industry.
