Rakel Single Mothers Association (RSMA) is a non-governmental organization registered with the government of Liberia. Rakel Single Mothers Association its aimed at educating single mothers, children and youth in reducing the illiteracy rate in Montserrado County and Liberia at large as well as sensitizing and strengthen women, to take care of their children through the Health and Sanitation awaren

ess workshop project.

- To strengthen women, and to take care of their children;

- To engage the professional services of single mothers where possible, eradicate inequality, poverty, injustice, diseases and suffering in B**g County and throughout Liberia;

- To utilize the God-given talents and make single mothers and other vulnerable women productive that will improve their economic conditions;

- To educate and engage the public concerning the causes, effects and means of mitigation and/or eradication of such inequality, poverty, injustice, diseases and suffering of single mothers.

- To educate single mothers and children who are now exposed to danger of Health and Sanitation.

- To educate them on mental health or mental illness conditions and prevention.

- To lobby with local government and donors to meaningfully support project for possible implementation

- Help prevent the spread of bad Health and Sanitation conditions.

As part of our 26 Day celebration, Rakel Single Mothers Institute was honored to distribute gifts to the wonderful residents of VOA 1 Community, Montserrado County. Seeing the smiles and joy on the faces of our beneficiaries reminds us why we remain committed to serving our communities with love and compassion.

Beyond the gift distribution, we are proud to launch our Soap-Making Skills Training Program, an initiative designed to equip individuals with practical skills that promote self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and sustainable livelihoods.

At Rakel Single Mothers, we believe that true empowerment comes from creating opportunities that transform lives. We remain dedicated to uplifting families, empowering women, and fostering community development across Liberia.

On today Rakel Single Mothers Association, project team was able to again visit a school in district 14 Montserrado country, as part of our educational assessment project so students can get a good environment for learning.

Project objectives include:

*Renovation of classes/offices
* Fixing of chairs/benches
* Giving some school materials
* Scholarship for less fortunate children
* Etc
