Today, we were honored to have the presence of Dr. Jude Muteh and Christopher Oโ€™Connor, Program Officer and Senior Program Manager for Africa, respectively, from the National Endowment for Democracy, as they had heartwarming and rewarding interactions with our fellows.

Among many pertinent issues, fellows were kept abreast with impacts of the NED on the protection and promoting of democractic values across the globe, specifically Liberia, opportunities (grant and/or fellowship) offered by the institution, the US election system, and etc.

Mr. Lawrence Yealue, Team Lead at Accountability-Lab Liberia, today led a session of enlightenment on "Accountability as Tool & Value."

It was an opener for participants to consider "Rebranding & Rethinking" as he urged them to place premium on integrity over vices that have been stamped at the brain level; thus affecting Liberia's growth and development.

Thank you a lot Mr. Yealue, and we look forward to seeing you again..๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ

Juan Martinez is the Political & Human Rights Officer at the U.S. Embassy Monrovia, Liberia, and has spent nearly four years working in Liberia. He holds deep understanding on human rights and political issues in Liberia, as his office has helped unearthed multiples of human rights and corruption issues in Liberia since 2020.

The US diplomat bids farewell to Liberia this week, and we take proud in his knowledge sharing venture which has had indelible imprint on us at the Democracy Impact Fellowship Program Liberia.

Thank you and best wishes, Julian.โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ
