Reaffirming Our Commitment to Supporting Girls’ Menstrual Health

Empower HER Foundation, menstrual health is not just a once-a-year conversation, it’s a continuous commitment.
While May 28, World Menstrual Health Day, is an important date on our calendar, our work doesn’t stop there. We believe that menstrual health education, access, and advocacy must happen all year round.
It is one of our core priorities and flagship programs, and we are deeply committed to breaking the stigma, ending period poverty, and ensuring that every girl can manage her period with dignity and confidence. We want to reassure our partners, stakeholders, and communities that our mission continues. We will keep engaging schools, hosting community outreach, and facilitating workshops and seminars to reach as many girls as possible — empowering them to live healthy menstrual lives and realize their full potential.

Together, we can create a world where no girl is left behind because of her period.

🌍❤️ World Menstrual Health Day! ❤️🌍

Today, Empower HER Foundation proudly stands with girls and women everywhere to break the silence, end the stigma, and promote menstrual dignity!

As part of our ongoing campaign to end period poverty, we made a special impact by donating sanitary pads to girls in 4 schools across Liberia. 💪🏾✨

These donations are more than just supplies — they are a statement that every girl deserves to manage her period safely, hygienically, and with confidence.

🩸 Menstrual health is a right, not a privilege.
🎓 Every girl deserves to stay in school, every day of the month.
🤝 Together, we can break barriers and build a world where menstruation is not a limitation.

A huge THANK YOU to our volunteers, partners, and supporters who made this possible. The fight to end period poverty continues, and we won’t stop until every girl is empowered.

🩷 Another Impactful Day with Empower HER Foundation! 🩷

Today, we continued our school outreach, sparking real conversations and sharing vital knowledge about menstrual hygiene and period poverty.

From interactive discussions to distributing sanitary pads, we’re breaking barriers and reminding every girl that her period should never be a reason to miss school. 🎒🩸

Each visit is a reminder that change is possible—one school, one student, one conversation at a time.

🌍 Together, we’re creating a future where no girl is held back by her period.

🌸 Empower HER Foundation School Engagement – Raising Awareness to End Period Poverty 🌸

Today, we continued our powerful school outreach campaign as part of our mission to raise awareness and end period poverty among adolescent girls across Liberia. 💪🏾✨

Our team had an incredible time engaging with the amazing students, sharing knowledge on menstrual hygiene, addressing myths and misconceptions, and encouraging open, stigma-free conversations about periods. 🩸📚

We believe every girl deserves access to menstrual products, education, and dignity—and today was another step forward in that vision. The energy, participation, and curiosity of the students truly inspired us! 💜

This campaign is not just about providing pads—it’s about empowering young girls to understand their bodies, embrace their worth, and pursue their education without shame or barriers.

👧🏾💬 “Periods are normal. Education is a right. Dignity is non-negotiable.”

We are proud to be a voice for change and grateful for the support of our volunteers, partners, and every school welcoming us.

🗓️ The journey continues as we build up to World Menstrual Health Day on May 28 under the theme: “Ending Period Poverty.”

📸 Stay tuned for more updates from our school visits!

When Girls Speak Up: Breaking the Silence on Menstrual Health

When girls speak up, myths are shattered.
When girls speak up, shame turns into confidence.
When girls speak up, menstrual health becomes a right — not a taboo.

This Menstrual Hygiene Month, let’s listen, learn, and amplify their voices.
Because every girl deserves dignity and support during her period.
