Local Communities Development Initiative (LCDI)
Empowering Sustainable Development in Liberia

About LCDI:
The Local Communities Development Initiative (LCDI) is a grassroots non-profit organization dedicated to driving sustainable development and improving the livelihoods of communities across Liberia. Established in 2018, LCDI works closely with local stakeholders to identify and address the most pressing challenges faced by Liberian communities, with a focus on education,health,sustainable agriculture, water and sanitation infrastructure, and renewable energy solutions.

Our Mission:
LCDI's mission is to empower local communities, foster innovative solutions, and build a more resilient, equitable, and environmentally conscious society in Liberia. We believe that sustainable development is not just a lofty goal, but a necessity for the well-being of our people and the preservation of our natural heritage.

Our Approach:
At LCDI, we adopt a collaborative and community-driven approach to sustainable development. We work closely with local partners, including community-based organizations, smallholder farmers, and civic leaders, to co-create and implement impactful initiatives that address the unique needs and challenges of each community.
