👑 Queen’s Official Duty | Beyond the Crown

Our reigning Miss Inter-University Liberia, Richedna K. Tobii, gracefully honored an official invitation from Lonestar Cell MTN to attend the launch of the MoMo Heroes of Change 2026.

During the launch, Queen Richedna had the honor of presenting one of this year’s newest categories — the Young Changemaker Award, created to recognize young Liberians making meaningful contributions and creating positive impact in their communities.

As the only student among the invited delegates selected to present the award categories, her presence was especially fitting. Richedna represents the very spirit of a young changemaker — using her platform, education, leadership, and voice to challenge traditional perceptions of pageantry and inspire a new generation.

At Miss Inter-University Liberia, we believe a crown should represent more than beauty. It should represent purpose, intellect, service, leadership, and impact.

This is what it means to be a queen Beyond the Crown. 👑🇱🇷✨

It’s safe to say that Amb Harris (Tamel) is one of the best pageant trainers in Liberia and since the launch of MIUL, he has been an important part of our journey. From the very beginning, he has worked with our contestants to ensure they step onto that stage prepared to deliver their very best.

From modeling skills and stage movement to composure, confidence, posture, and overall stage presence, Tamel has consistently pushed our Queens to improve and bring out the best in themselves 👑

Tamel, on behalf of the entire MIUL Team, thank you.

You have done more than enough for this project, and we cannot overlook the dedication, time, patience, and expertise you have poured into our Queens. Your presence on this team has played a huge role in the preparation and development of our contestants, and we truly appreciate everything you bring to MIUL.

From the training sessions to the Grand Finale stage, your fingerprints are all over the growth we see in our Queens 👏🏾

We appreciate you, we celebrate you, and we are grateful to have you as part of the MIUL family. Let’s continue to work together and keep raising the standard.

Yesterday, August 19, 2026, was a remarkable day for Miss Inter-University Liberia as our reigning Queen, Miss. Richedna K. Tobii- Miss Inter-University Liberia 2.0, was celebrated and presented with some of her well-deserved prizes ❤️

Among the prizes presented were:

🚗 2014 Chevrolet Cruze LTZ (White)
💻 Brand-New Laptop, courtesy of The Millie Investment Group
💰 LRD 100,000 Cash Prize
🎓 One-Year Scholarship at Starz University, courtesy of the The Ministry of Youth and Sports Liberia

It was a day filled with joy, love, excitement, and unforgettable moments as family, friends, supporters, students, and well-wishers came out to give our Queen the royal treatment she deserves.

A special appreciation to Starz University for the incredible welcome and celebration. You truly showed up for your Queen. Thank you for standing by Richedna throughout her MIUL journey and continuing to support her as she begins her reign.

The celebration also highlighted the beautiful spirit of sisterhood within MIUL. Our First Runner-Up and First Princess, Miss Stephanie Gibson of AME University, made a heartfelt commitment to work alongside Queen Richedna throughout her reign.

This is what MIUL is about, beauty, education, leadership, sisterhood, and creating opportunities for young women to shine beyond the crown 👑

This morning, we accompanied our Miss Inter-University Liberia 2026/2027 Queen, Richedna K. Tobii, to the Ministry of Youth and Sports to formally accept the one-year scholarship offered by the Ministry as part of its sponsorship of MIUL this year. 👑🇱🇷❤️

During the visit, we met with Mr. Alphonso Belleh, Deputy Minister for Youth Development, to express our appreciation to the Ministry for investing in our Queen’s education and supporting the Miss Inter-University Liberia platform.

But the conversation went beyond the scholarship and beyond the crown. 👑

We discussed additional opportunities for Richedna, including an internship with the Ministry and a Youth Ambassadorial role, both of which the Ministry graciously agreed to support.

As a Youth Ambassador, Richedna will have the opportunity to serve as a voice and face for young people in Liberia, work closely with youth development partners through the Ministry, and engage with students and young people across the country.

For us at MIUL, this is what the crown represents: opening doors that extend far beyond the pageant stage. Through these opportunities, our Queen will gain valuable professional experience, expand her network, strengthen her leadership capacity, and use her platform to positively impact other young Liberians.

We are deeply grateful to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for believing in our Queen, supporting the MIUL vision, and investing in the growth and future of a young Liberian woman. ❤️👑🇱🇷

The newly crowned Miss Inter-University Liberia 2025/2026, Miss Richedna Tobii recently attended the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs’ Scholarship Recipients Inter-University Debate Tournament, held under the theme:

“The Scholar’s Arena – Where Academic Excellence is Rewarded, and Intellect Inspires the Future.”

Representing not only her university but also the Miss Inter-University Liberia platform, our Queen had the opportunity to witness young Liberian scholars engage in thought-provoking discussions, challenge ideas, and demonstrate the power of knowledge and confidence.

As MIUL continues to champion education, leadership, and youth empowerment, we are proud to see our Queen using her platform to celebrate academic excellence and encourage young people to learn, speak, lead, and inspire.

We extend our appreciation to the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs for investing in the future of Liberia through these scholars.
