To everyone who has walked the halls of the Richard M. Nixon Institute in Monrovia, Liberia—whether you spent one year, two years, or more—this message is for YOU! As many of you know, RMNI has been a beacon of hope for students for over 55 years, nurturing around 1,000 students annually across its three campuses. It is an institution that has shaped the lives of more than 55,000 alumni who have gone on to make a difference in their communities and beyond.

Today, I invite each of you to reflect on the impact that RMNI has had on your life and to join us in giving back. Our beloved school is in need of renovations and your financial assistance to support our project, **RMNI Rebuilding 2025**. Attention All Liberians and Supporters of Education! Worldwide:

In 1970, the late John and Minnie Wulu Sr. founded the Richard M. Nixon Institute in Monrovia, Liberia. Over the past 55 years, this institution has provided thousands of Liberians with quality education, with many receiving it for free and some paying a small tuition fee. As we look towards the future and the upcoming school years, our vision is to continue offering tuition-free education to tens of thousands more Liberians over the next 45 years!

2025 marks a monumental milestone—the 55th anniversary of the Richard M. Nixon Institute. It is one of only three schools worldwide named in honor of the 37th President of the United States, with the other two located in the USA offering tuition-free education to all students. We are committed to preserving President Richard M. Nixon’s legacy and ensuring it thrives for another 45 years.

Today, we urgently need your help to provide our current students with a safe and conducive learning environment. By contributing even a small amount—whether it's $5, $10, $20, $50, or $100—you can make a significant impact. Your donations will go directly towards “Project Rebuild RMNI 2025,”which will fund essential renovations to improve our school campus in preparation for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Please note that our GoFundMe and crowdfunding links are currently offline, but we invite you to connect with us on the RMNIAA page and visit our RMNIAA.org website. In just three days, we will be ready to accept your generous donations.

We truly appreciate your support in this important endeavor. Together, let's keep the spirit of education alive in Liberia!

Thank you very much in advance for your generosity.

RMNIAA “Project Rebuild RMNI 2025” Administrators.

“Our Chairman Francois Wulu-DeMonique RMNIAA addressed his family in a letter on future plans for RMNI”

Subject: A Call to Unity and Action for the Wulu Family

Hello to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Generations of the Wulu family, as well as our cousins worldwide,

I, Francois Wulu-DeMonique Sr., am writing to you with a spirit of clarity and purpose, hoping to bring us together in a common cause that is very close to my heart.

I am excited to share my recent appointment as the Chairman of the Richard M. Nixon Institute Alumni Association (RMNIAA), which operates from the United States and Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa.

In June 2025, RMNIAA proudly co-sponsored the 60th anniversary of the John & Minnie Wulu School System, which oversees three vital educational institutions in Liberia:
1. Richard M. Nixon Institute
2. John Wulu Elementary School
3. Minnie Wulu Junior High School

This milestone was celebrated with a Gala week filled with various activities, uniting our alumni and honoring the enduring legacy of education that our family has nurtured over the years.

However, as we celebrate our achievements, it is important to acknowledge that there is still much work to be done. On behalf of the Alumni Association, I am announcing a comprehensive plan to revitalize our school campuses. We have set a goal of raising $2.5 million USD to renovate the facilities and provide the necessary amenities that will enhance the educational experience for our students. We aim to accomplish this ambitious project between July 1st and September 1st, 2025, coinciding with the start of the new school year.

This initiative will require the collective effort and support of all family members who share an open mind and a kind heart. Together, we can create a lasting impact on the future generations of the Wulu family and our community.

I look forward to sharing more about this journey and the positive changes we can achieve together.

Warm regards,
Francois Wulu-DeMonique Sr.
