Volunteer School Coordinator
The Young Feminist Academy of Africa (YFAA), a program under the Alliance for Peace, Justice and Human Rights (APJHR), is seeking a passionate, organized, and motivated School Coordinator to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the empowerment of young women across Africa through leadership development, advocacy, education, and financial and social independence initiatives.
About the Role
The School Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the planning, implementation, and coordination of YFAA programs and activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the academy team to ensure the effective delivery of projects that empower young women to become leaders and advocates for positive social change.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee academy programs and activities.
* Support the planning and implementation of leadership and advocacy initiatives.
* Assist in organizing trainings, workshops, and educational events.
* Monitor program progress and prepare activity reports.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, volunteers, and partners.
* Ensure smooth communication between participants and the academy management.
Qualifications
Applicants should:
* Be 18–35 years old.
* Be a university student.
* Have experience in program management or coordination.
* Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Be passionate about women’s empowerment, leadership, and social justice.
