The Journey to Hope In Chris

Getting to Hope in Christ Orphanage Home was not easy, but the mission was worth every challenge.

The road was muddy, with water covering part of the way. When we reached the flooded areas, we had to get down to reduce the load so the driver could safely cross, and at some points, we had to get down and push the keke through the muddy road.

The journey tested us, but the smiles waiting for us at the end made it all worth it.

On August 30, 2026, Dream Care Foundation spent a meaningful day at Christ Life Orphan Home in Careysburg, Walker’s Town, sharing love, support, and hope with the children.

The home currently cares for 30 children, including 14 girls and 17 boys. During our visit, we learned more about some of the challenges they face, particularly the need for food, school materials, and educational support.

The orphanage home school currently provides education up to sixth grade, while eight children attend another school. Meeting their school fees has become a significant challenge for the home.

Our visit was an opportunity to offer support, share love, and remind the children that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

August 30, 2026—Dream Care Foundation had the privilege of visiting two orphanage homes in Careysburg: Christ Life and Hope In Chris Orphanage Home.

The visits were filled with meaningful moments, fun activities, inspiration talks, and the presentation of school materials and sweets to the children.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, and supported us in making this outreach possible. Your support helped us turn our commitment into action and, most importantly, put smiles on the faces of children.

We will be sharing more beautiful moments from yesterday’s outreach as we celebrate the children, our volunteers, and everyone who made the day possible.
