The Center for Justice and Peace Studies (CJPS) has begun the graduation of beneficiaries under the project "Empowerment of Adolescent Girls and Young Women."
Held on May 13, 2026, in Nyehn, Todee District, over sixty men and women were certified under the program, with fifteen women graduating from the mentorship program and over 50 men receiving certificates under the Father-to-School Program.
Similar graduations are expected to take place in Kakta, Margibi County, and Gbarnga, B**g County, on May 15 and May 16, respectively, from the program "Empowerment of Adolescent Girls and Young Women," a Bread for the World-supported program implemented by the Center for Justice and Peace Studies.
The program caters to the empowerment of adolescent girls and young women, supporting girls' entry and retention in school, deconstructing toxic masculinity, challenging negative norms and stereotypes, promoting supportive parenting, and amplifying the voice of vulnerable groups, especially women, children, persons with disabilities, and the elderly.
The program is being held under the theme "Building Resilient Communities through Responsible Fatherhood and Girls'/Young Women's Leadership."
