Earlier today, 21 July 2026, Members of the Technical Team of the NIF, Chaired by its head Mrs. Josephine K. Chelleh held a fruitful meeting at LEITI to review action points from the just-ended dialogue. Key decisions were taken from the meeting, and two committees were set up to lead on key action points.

Also, Mr. Gilbert Craigwell, Research Officer at the Governance Commission and a Technician of NIF was appointed as Assistant Secretary during the meeting. He will assist the Secretary in the course of his duties.

These efforts and initiatives are meant to enhance the fight against corruption, promote integrity, and improve public service delivery in Liberia.

Earlier today, Members of the NIF including Public Integrity Institutions and Civil Society organizations held a Dialogue to strengthen collaboration and cooperation to enhance the fight against corruption in Liberia. During the dialogue, stakeholders made key commitments to improve internal coordination mechanisms, develop a strategic plan, and design a sustainability plan for the forum.

Over the last few days, our Technical Team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to organize a one-day National Dialogue with public integrity institutions and civil society organizations, aimed at strengthening collaboration and cooperation to improve the fight against corruption in Liberia.

The event is slated for Friday, July 17, 2026, and is expected to bring together heads of public integrity institutions and civil society organizations to find ways to advance the NIF and the fight against corruption.

Earlier today, Members of the NIF attended the launch of the Center for Transparency and Accountability in Liberia (CENTAL) 2025 State of Corruption Report in Monrovia. The report launch reflects CENTAL’s commitment to tracking Institutional Performance and citizens' perceptions about corruption in Liberia.

NIF, therefore, endorses the report and calls for concrete action against corruption in Liberia.

Earlier today, June 5, 2026, the Technical Committee of the NIF, together with the Center for Transparency and Accountability in Liberia (CENTAL), installed two billboards at the Liberian Government Hospital 🏥 in Buchanan City and at the Wayzohn City-Gorblee Health Center in Grand Bassa County.

The initiative aims to raise awareness of public health services at the targeted facilities.

CENTAL supports the project under its Strengthening Political Governance and Accountability Project that is being funded by the Embassy of Ireland in Liberia 🇮🇪
