HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Thank God for another year and new beginnings. 2023 started somehow with uncertainty. Key family members could not end the year with us. There were career challenges. We did not waiver, but restrategized to keep on course.

2024 is a year that I look up to for a life of hardened principles and standards and self-confidence that inspire me to achieve my personal goals and keep on the path of growth in knowledge and career development.

I am also kindly requesting your forgiveness for any intentional and unintentional wrong I have done directly or indirectly against you in any forms or manner. Let's start a new page with a renewed energy to excel beyond those differences. I would never have the desire to hurt anyone. If on the contrary, however, you have given me more pain than pleasure/happiness in the past 12 months, we can start a new beginning of mutual respect. Let us support each other's dreams and aspirations for the common good of all.

Gblor Education Foundation - a non-profit organization formed on the vision of equality and equity in providing access to educational opportunities for underprivileged school-going population.

It is part of an overall community effort through inclusive and participatory citizen actions to promote human capital development for economic transformation. The quality of human capital often mirrors the level of economic productivity.

Liberia has a challenge of low human capital development. This challenge has often been reflected in reports from the UN, World Bank and other international development organizations.

The GBLOR Clan Education Foundation is a proposed non-profit organization aimed at addressing the educational needs of less-privileged school-going children in Gblor Clan, Tappita District, Lower Nimba County, Liberia. This initiative targets providing educational support to 300 students over four years, spanning ages 10–35 across various education levels. The foundation will focus on scholarships, mentorship programs, school supplies, and community engagement to foster sustainable educational development and socio-economic empowerment.

Gblor Clan, located in Tappita District, faces significant educational challenges due to poverty, inadequate infrastructure, and limited access to quality learning resources. Many families cannot afford school fees, supplies, or other essentials, leading to high dropout rates and reduced opportunities for community members.

Investing in education is a proven pathway to breaking the cycle of poverty and promoting community development. By establishing the GBLOR Clan Education Foundation, we aim to bridge these gaps and empower individuals to contribute meaningfully to society.

Therefore, it is our immediate and long-term intervention to augment the government's effort in improving the quality of human capital in Liberia, beginning with our own communities and expand to other significantly affected areas of the country.

Meanwhile, this vision remains a dream until we all make the decision to make inputs in any way possible in our reach to achieve the expected outcome and impacts.
