This is a story of war, self-resilience, governance, and the power to be the change. It is a novel built to make you see the other side. The endurance of a young hustler brings us the integrity and the character we seek to find. Can we find the novelist character in our politicians? Let us discuss together.

Happy 26, 2025.

As we commemorate Liberia's Independence Day this year, I'm filled with pride and hope for our nation's bright future. We've entered a new era, one marked by a government committed to building a durable, impactful, and rewarding future for all Liberians. This era demands our collective effort and dedication to overcome the challenges that threaten our progress.

One such challenge is the scourge of drugs, which imperils our youth and undermines our nation's potential. I urge every Liberian to join forces in this fight, to stand united against the menace of drugs in every corner of our society. We need our youth to be vibrant, productive, and contributing members of our society, not victims of addiction.

On this sacred day, July 26th, let's reaffirm our commitment to our nation's future. Let's say no to drugs and yes to building a solid, prosperous Liberia. With a united front, we can support our government's efforts and create a brighter tomorrow for ourselves and future generations.

So, let our mantra be: Love Liberia, Think Liberia, Build Liberia. Let's work together to create a nation where our children can thrive, where our youth can reach their full potential, and where our future is bright with promise. Happy Independence Day, Liberia!

A Worrying Future for Us All.

If there's one thing to worry about, it's a broken society where everyone becomes a victim. The proliferation of drugs has the potential to create a vicious cycle of destruction, where leaders under the influence make poor decisions, and their children fall prey to addiction. This can lead to a catastrophic downward spiral, where poor judgment and addiction converge to devastate our communities.

The consequences would be dire: poorly educated youth, addicted leaders, and young minds corrupted by criminal influences. This toxic combination would undermine our nation's progress, eroding the foundations of a healthy, productive society. The impact would be felt across all sectors, from education to governance, and would perpetuate a cycle of poverty, crime, and despair.

This is why we must say no to drugs – unequivocally and without hesitation. We owe it to ourselves, our children, and future generations to take a stand against this menace. By working together, we can build a society that values health, education, and responsible leadership. Let's join forces to create a brighter future for Liberia, where our citizens can thrive and reach their full potential, free from the grip of addiction and its devastating consequences.

Drug and Our Society _ The Way Forward

Liberia and Liberians are yet to recognize some harsh realities about our society. With a population of less than 6 million, many major cities around the world have larger populations than our entire country. Given our small size, it's likely that we all know someone who knows someone else, making it probable that the "bad eggs" among us are not strangers, but rather close friends, family members, colleagues, or acquaintances from church or social gatherings.

The truth is, anyone among us can be a force for good or evil. Accepting this reality can help us better navigate difficult situations and respond to bad news, especially when it involves someone close to us. This is why good laws are crucial – they provide a framework for addressing wrongdoing, allowing us to step back and let the law take its course.

The recent drug-related stories have brought this issue to the forefront. We know that drug dealers, peddlers, users, and facilitators live among us in our communities. We've even seen law enforcement officers engaging with these individuals or visiting known hotspots. The question is, how can we as a nation confront this problem? How can communities, government, and parents work together to address it? We must take action now.
