Support African Youth through the Motiva Project
Hi, We are the founders of Motiva Corporation, and we are fundraising for the Motiva Corporation+ to support our mission of empowering African youth. Our organization, Motiva Corporation+, is dedicated to promoting and practicing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for a sustainable future. We believe that by investing in the younger generation, we can build a brighter, more prosperous Africa.
Our Story
Growing up in Liberia, We witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by young people in Africa. Many of our peers had dreams and aspirations but lacked the resources and opportunities to achieve them. Despite being talented and driven, they were held back by systemic barriers such as limited access to quality education, high unemployment rates, and inadequate healthcare. These challenges not only hinder individual growth but also stifle the potential of entire communities.
At Motiva Corporation+, we are committed to changing this narrative. As an African proprietary investment company, we have a diverse portfolio that includes investments in power, oil and gas, financial services, entrepreneurship, hospitality, real estate, and healthcare. Our mission is clear: to find solutions for a better world and to empower the next generation of African leaders.
The Challenges We Aim to Address
1. Limited Access to Quality Education: Many African youths do not have access to quality education due to a lack of infrastructure, funding, and trained educators. This educational gap limits their potential and opportunities for future success.
2. High Unemployment Rates: Despite being the most educated generation in African history, many young people struggle to find meaningful employment. The mismatch between their skills and the job market, along with limited entrepreneurial opportunities, contributes to high unemployment rates.
3. Healthcare Disparities: Access to healthcare remains a significant issue, with many young Africans unable to receive the medical attention they need. This impacts their overall well-being and ability to thrive.
4. Lack of Mentorship and Networking: Without access to mentorship and professional networks, many young Africans lack the guidance and support needed for personal and professional growth.
Our Vision for Empowerment
Through this GoFundMe campaign, we aim to support several key initiatives:
1. Educational Support: We will improve access to quality education by funding scholarships, building and renovating schools, and providing educational materials. Additionally, we will invest in teacher training programs to ensure educators can effectively inspire and guide students.
2. Skills Development and Entrepreneurship: We will offer vocational training and entrepreneurship programs to help young Africans acquire the skills needed for the job market and to create their own opportunities, fostering a culture of innovation and self-reliance.
3. Healthcare Initiatives: We will address healthcare disparities by funding medical facilities, providing essential healthcare services, and promoting health education to ensure the well-being of young people.
4. Mentorship and Networking: Our mentorship programs will connect young Africans with experienced professionals for guidance and support. We will also create platforms for networking and collaboration, enabling youths to build valuable connections.
