A Milestone for Mental Health Care in Liberia

Today, we are proud to share highlights from the inauguration of the new mental rehabilitation facility at St. Benedict Menni Mental Rehabilitation Centre in Monrovia.

This new facility represents much more than a building. It is a commitment to dignity, recovery and hope for women living with mental health challenges, providing a safe and supportive environment where healing and reintegration can take place.

The inauguration brought together Sisters Hospitallers, healthcare professionals, Church leaders, public authorities, donors, partners, families and members of the local community, all united by a shared vision: improving access to compassionate mental health care in Liberia.

We are deeply grateful to everyone whose support, collaboration and generosity made this project possible.

Together, we continue building opportunities for recovery, inclusion and a future filled with hope.
