New beginning for the T-STEM initiative ❤️

The T-STEM Initiative remains fully committed to promoting TVET and STEM education across our communities.

Over the past few months, we have intentionally shifted more focus toward innovative, problem-solving projects aimed at addressing real societal challenges and improving lives.

We are especially excited to have Varflay Dukuly to our growing team.

Varflay has quickly proven himself to be one of the most dedicated and reliable team leaders within the T-STEM Initiative.

His passion, commitment, and willingness to contribute meaningfully have made a strong impact since joining us.

He officially joined me during Project 3.0, where his role has been instrumental from the early stages.

Varflay brings not only technical insight but also a high level of discipline and teamwork that continues to strengthen our efforts.

In this photo, Varflay and I are captured working together on the initial design phase of Project 3.0—an exciting step forward as we continue to innovate and build solutions for our society.

T-STEM Initiative, Official Announcement

We are delighted to share that the T-STEM Initiative has reached one of its most significant milestones to date.

Through faith, perseverance, and the generosity of individuals and partners who recommended and supported us, we have successfully resolved our legal formalities and are now moving forward on the right trajectory to officially launch the initiative.

Our sincere thanks go to everyone who has supported us so far, particularly those who helped finance and coordinate the printing of our T-shirts.

Your commitment has been vital, and we invite all supporters to purchase a T-shirt as a visible sign of solidarity with our mission.

What to expect at the launch:

• Official inauguration of the T-STEM Initiative.

• Special recognition of individuals and organizations making outstanding contributions to TVET and STEM education.

• Fundraising activities to support program development, training labs, and outreach to schools and communities.

In pursuit of local manufacturing

For many years I’ve been deeply passionate about developing local manufacturing in Liberia.

I firmly believe this sector must be a national priority, it strengthens our self-reliance, creates meaningful jobs, and builds the technical capacity our young people need to thrive.

At the T-STEM Initiative, advancing local production is one of our core objectives: we train, mentor, and equip youth with the practical skills and mindsets required to design, build, and scale locally made products.
Empowering young people with hands-on training is vital.

When students learn how to fabricate tools, repair equipment, or manufacture everyday items, they gain not only technical competence but also confidence, entrepreneurship skills, and the ability to solve real problems in their communities.

Our goal is to grow this capacity from classroom benches to small factories, and eventually to become exporters of quality Liberian goods.

This photo shows students building a dump wheelbarrow, a simple but powerful example of how practical training turns ideas into products and learners into skilled technicians.

Let’s embrace local manufacturing and production across Liberia: invest in training, support small-scale industry, and champion policies that make it easier for Liberians to produce, sell, and export.

🌍 Official Announcement from the T-STEM Initiative 🌍
We’re excited to share some great news with everyone!

🎉 After a recommendation from our leadership to the Board, we’ve officially decided to adopt the name T-STEM Initiative instead of T-STAB Initiative.

The former name “T-STAB” carried the founder’s initials, but our new name T-STEM better reflects our vision and mission — to promote TVET and STEM education through outreach, innovation, and practical learning.

The T-STEM Initiative is a platform built to empower young people, strengthen communities, and inspire innovation across Liberia and Africa.

Through TVET and STEM education, we aim to nurture a new generation of creative thinkers, problem solvers, and skilled professionals ready to shape the future.
