PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

International Anti-Corruption Day 2025
Theme: “Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity”

Liberia's National theme: "Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Installing Integrity in our Futuer Leaders for a Peaceful, Inclusive and Prosperous Liberia."
------------------------------------------------------------
The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) is pleased to inform the public that it will join countries across the world in commemorating International Anti-Corruption Day on December 9, 2025. This global observance serves as a reminder of our collective responsibility to confront corruption, promote transparency, and strengthen integrity across all sectors of society.

This year’s theme places a powerful spotlight on the role of young people in transforming governance and building a future rooted in honesty and accountability.

Liberia’s youth represent a generation of innovators, advocates, and leaders whose voices are essential in driving sustainable change. Empowering them to resist corruption and champion integrity is crucial to securing a brighter and more prosperous future for our nation.

In recognition of this year’s theme, the LACC will conduct a series of indoor and outdoor activities, including public awareness campaigns, youth-centered engagements, institutional dialogues, and community outreach initiatives in Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County and Monrovia, Montserrado County. These activities are designed to deepen national understanding of the harmful effects of corruption and inspire young people to take active roles in promoting ethical behavior within their communities.

As a nation, let us unite with our youth to shape tomorrow’s integrity and reaffirm our commitment to a corruption-free Liberia.
