PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The Board of Trustees of the Rose of Sharon Foundation School Incorporated hereby informs all students, faculty, and administration as well as residents of Johnsonville Township that in consultation with the national leadership and international partners, a decision has been reached that the senior high division of the school (grades 10-12) is hereby suspended for time indefinite until further review.
The decision to suspend the senior high division is predicted upon the facts that over the years enrollment in the senior high division remains very low and has not improved.
We regret this decision as it will affect students who were promoted in senior high division who truly believe in the discipline and academic excellence of the school and will now be forced to transfer to other schools.
Another reason for the suspension of the senior high division is the high cost of operating it when funds generated from it cannot sustain the salaries of teachers.
Meanwhile, all students affected ( grades 10-12) will be given recommendation letters along with transcripts for a minimum fee of $5.00 USD or its equivalent in Liberian dollars.
The school will now operate only from nursery to grade 9.
Information sheets for Academic 2026/2027 calendar is now available for $250.00 Liberian dollars.
All new students enrolling for Academic 2026/2027 will receive one set of uniform free of charge.
Information sheets can be picked up from the office of the business manager/ registrar begining now up to the opening of school.
School will reopen on Monday, September 7, 2026.
