BACKGROUND:
Ma-Kpe was established for women and girls and shall operate as a Community Based organization (CBO) formulated to empower women and girls. They shall benefit from well-coordinated projects and programs aimed at providing economic empowerment, self-esteem, self-confidence, and peer counseling among others. Ma-Kpe (in the Bassa Language meaning, “Women Power”)

dedicated to empowering women and girls to achieve their full economic potential by inspiring women become advocates, change makers and leaders in their communities. We equip them with resources, opportunities and a platform that facilitates team building, learning and sharing of experiences
Vision
Women and girls have the knowledge, resources, skills and confidence to achieve self-sufficiency and space to make decision. OBJECTIVES
Ma Kpe shall seek to provide, through the provision of equal opportunities and empowerment through the following objectives:
To ensure a life of dignity for women and girls in the face of social challenges;
to advocate for, among other things, the implementation of universal access to women rights;
To establish linkages through networking and solidarity for women and girls in collaboration with partners and other organizations;
To advocate and encourage women leadership participation and decision-making processes at every level
To facilitate capacity development through the empowerment of individual established women structures to demand equal rights and access to health care, education, economic (micro-loan) and socio-cultural opportunities irrespective of their status;
To establish women forum in areas where there are none, and strengthen existing ones. To promote unity through peace-building at community level
