Cole Values:
1. Voluntarism: by volunteering, we give back to our communities in a positive manner. Therefore, we are delegated to using our times, skills and knowledge to impacting change in our communities through volunteerism.
2. Diversity and Inclusion: We cherish the potential of diversity in building a just world. Our programs are therefore tailored to accommodate people from all walks of life regardless of social, political, ethnic, religious or cultural orientation.
3. Commitment and Accountability: we shall at all times be diligent to our work in ensuring excellence, professionalism and reliability
Our Programs:
1. Civic Engagement: Through this program, we work with communities to strengthen their civic competency by affording them the skills and knowledge to become responsible and active citizens. We also train communities with basic leadership, peace building, conflict management and basic advocacy skills for peaceful coexistence. This program equips communities through basic human rights education, and assists individuals to seek justice in case of an abuse or violation of their fundamental rights and liberties. Under our civic education program, we also educate community dwellers the importance of volunteerism as a gateway to community development.
2. Agriculture and Entrepreneurship: Agriculture and entrepreneurship are essential in community development as they help to minimize poverty, improve food security and lessen economic burden. Through this program, we encourage communities to venture into agriculture and entrepreneurship by providing them the necessary training, guidance and support needed to improve their productivity, and further connect them to the right market to engage into agro business by selling their products to generate resources they can use to solve social problems affecting them.
3. Health and Livelihood Sustainability: Through this program, we work to ensure healthy environment by raising awareness on major health issues including HIV/AIDS and adolescent reproductive health. For the livelihood sustainability aspect, we focus on equipping communities with basic vocational skills for self-employment opportunities that will create the avenue for them to generate resources to take care of their basic needs including health, shelter, education and nutrition.
