‎Woman Seeks Urgent Help for Her 12 Year Old Pregnant Daughter, Her Only Surviving Child.

‎By: Kids Care Foundation
‎Media Director

‎Grand Bassa County, Liberia –
A heartbreaking appeal has been made by a mother identified as Mamie, who is calling on compassionate individuals, humanitarian organizations, government institutions, and well wishers to help save the life of her 12 years old pregnant daughter, Mary.

‎Speaking with our Media Director, Mamie shared the painful story of her daughter's struggles and the devastating hardships her family has endured over the years.

‎According to Mamie, Mary was a six grade student at Geo Town Public School in Electoral District #4, Grand Bassa County. She explained that Mary had to walk approximately two hours from their village to the school every day in pursuit of an education, despite the difficult conditions they faced.

‎Mamie said her family is living in extreme poverty and is unable to provide the medical care, nutritional support, and other essential needs that Mary now urgently requires during her pregnancy.

‎In an emotional interview, Mary told our Media Director that she does not know who the father of her unborn child is.

‎Mamie's story became even more heartbreaking as she revealed that she has given birth to 12 children, but 11 of them died, which she attributes to the severe poverty her family has experienced. Mary is now her only surviving child, and the grieving mother fears she could lose her as well if help does not arrive in time.

‎"Mary is my only child left on this earth. I don't want to lose her like I lost the others," Mamie said with tears in her eyes.

‎The family is therefore appealing to members of the public, humanitarian organizations, religious institutions, local authorities, and anyone willing to help to support Mary with medical treatment, maternal care, food, clothing, and other basic necessities needed to safeguard both her life and that of her unborn child.

‎Every contribution, no matter how small, could make a meaningful difference in giving this young girl access to the care she urgently needs.

‎For those wishing to provide assistance or obtain more information, please contact Kids Care Foundation at:

‎Together, we can help give Mary hope, protect her health, and support a mother fighting to keep her only surviving child alive.
