Operations & Application Support Executive (Marine Industry)

Location: Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Operations & Application Support Executive to join our team in the marine industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling operational tasks, supporting marine applications, and ensuring smooth system functionality for our clients. This role is suitable for someone with an A-Level qualification or a Diploma in Business Management who is keen on developing a career in the marine technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Support:
Assist in daily operational activities related to marine applications and onboard systems.

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless service delivery.

Monitor and manage operational workflows to enhance efficiency.

Support the implementation of business processes and policies.

Application Support:
Provide first-level support for marine software applications and onboard systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues, escalating complex issues to the relevant teams.

Assist in user onboarding, training, and documentation for marine-related software.

Work closely with developers and engineers to improve system functionality.

Customer & Vendor Coordination:
Liaise with vessel operators, ship managers, and IT teams to support maritime operations.

Ensure proper communication and coordination between stakeholders.

Maintain records of support tickets and operational tasks.

Requirements:
A-Level or Diploma in Business Management (or a relevant field).

Basic understanding of business operations and customer support processes.

Interest in marine technology and willingness to learn technical aspects.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):
Prior experience in operations, logistics, or customer support (preferably in the marine industry).

Familiarity with marine software applications or vessel management systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
